If the product is found to be among the top-performing in a given category, it qualifies for the Clean Label Project Purity Award. USDA Certified Organic About: Organic certification means that farmers and businesses have met strict standards for the growing, processing and handling of their products. If you see the USDA organic seal, the product is certified organic and has 95 percent or more organic content meaning no pesticides, fertilizers, hormones, antibiotics, radiation or genetic engineering was used. Certified Woman-owned Business About: WBENC Certification is the most widely recognized and respected national certification for women-owned businesses in the U.S. The Certification validates that a business is at least 51 percent owned, controlled, operated, and managed by a woman or women. To become certified, business owners undergo a thorough vetting process, including review of business documentation and a site visit. |
